Privacy Policy

While we encourage you to read this policy in its entirety, here is a brief summary of the key points we want you to take away:

We do not send your personal data to anyone.

All the information we know is what you share by visiting and browsing our website. We do not collect your personal information from any third parties, so you decide what information to share.

Our website does not require you to log in, but we may obtain your IP address. We will use this information to maintain the functionality and security of the website.

We determine what content is relevant to you based on the answers you select in the tests and deepen our understanding of personality traits.

If you have any questions or comments about this policy, please feel free to contact us!

How do we collect information?

Firstly, we collect, store, and use the information you share on our website. This includes your email address, comments, and any other information you enter on the website. If you post personal information of others on our website, you must ensure that you have obtained that person's consent and disclose and process that person's data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This is your responsibility.

Secondly, if you purchase items on our website for yourself or others, we will collect payment, tax information (such as country of residence), and contact information (such as email address), as well as details of the purchased items.

Finally, when you use our website, we record certain technical information. This includes information about your device and how you access and use our website, such as your IP address, browser type, version, page views, etc.

We also need to use cookies (small encrypted data files stored and sent by your browser when you visit our website) to store your personality test results and other website settings. For more information about cookies, please see the section below.

Cookies

Most features on the website (such as viewing your personality test results) require cookies. By using our website, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with this policy.

We use "persistent" cookies on our website. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they are deleted or expire. Using cookies allows us to recognize you and other users when you visit the website and track your usage preferences.

We use Google Analytics to track website usage. Third-party services may use cookies and other technologies to collect technical data about your behavior and device (such as your device's IP address or screen size). For more details, please refer to Google's privacy policy. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time.

If we have an existing customer relationship with you (for example, if you have purchased something from the website), we may also use Facebook Pixel to analyze the effectiveness of Facebook ads. However, we do not have access to your Facebook profile or any other data you share with Facebook.

Most browsers allow you to refuse all cookies, while some browsers only allow you to refuse third-party cookies. However, blocking all cookies will prevent you from using many websites, including ours.

Do you have to provide information and why is it needed?

You are obliged to provide contact information and other relevant information so that we can communicate with you and provide the services displayed on the website. When we collect information from you (including through this Privacy Policy), we will inform you whether you are required to provide us with the information.

If you refuse to provide the required information, we may not be able to provide you with services that require the use of such information (such as certain features or assessments).

How do we use the information collected?

We use this information to provide you with personalized services and content relevant to you. Therefore, we must use your information as follows:

If you request your personality test results to be sent to you on the "Results" screen or in the "Preferences" section;

To send you messages related to your test results, such as a link to your online results;

To identify you and ensure your account is secure – for example, by verifying the email address you provide;

If you decide to purchase items from us, we will process your payment and send you an email with the online results corresponding to the purchased items;

To provide you with content and services relevant to you – for example, information about people who have the same test result type as you;

To respond to your questions, suggestions, or complaints about this website.

We use your information in the ways described above lawfully. We must do this to make the services and content as relevant to you as possible, which is in the interest of both parties.

Furthermore, we have a legitimate interest in maintaining our relationship with you, improving the website and services, and protecting you and other users.

Therefore, we will use your information to:

Analyze how you use our website to better understand your needs and optimize services and your experience. For example, by calculating the time you spend on a specific page before and after a change, we can understand if adjustments are needed. For this purpose, we will use third-party services (such as Google Analytics) to collect standard web log information and details of visitor behavior patterns (e.g., how much time you spend reading a test report). If we have an existing customer relationship with you, we may also use Facebook Pixel to analyze the effectiveness of Facebook ads. The aforementioned services have been described above.

This information is processed and is not associated with any individual. For example, we do not allow Google to attempt to match this information with your personal data.

Improve the website and develop new features. For example, if in one of our surveys a majority of respondents indicate they want to learn more about how to deal with difficult colleagues, we will also consider this.

Conduct internal analysis and scientific/statistical research to improve services and understand personality traits. For example, your answers to questionnaires can help us identify more likely extroversion or introversion. The primary research data you provide is anonymized or pseudonymized, and access to it will be strictly limited. Even our researchers can only see data that cannot be linked to any personally identifiable information, and we only publish aggregated statistics.

Ensure website security and prevent fraud.

Ensure your safety and the safety of other users, including cooperating with law enforcement agencies. For example, if you post information that leads us to believe you or someone else may be in danger, we may report it to the police.

Verify your compliance with the website's terms and conditions of use, for example, by maliciously accessing our services frequently.

While legitimate interests cover most actions, other legal bases also apply to how we process your data in the following situations:

We explicitly request your consent for processing;

When we provide services to you as a member – in this case, we will enter into an agreement with you and process your data through the agreement (see Terms and Conditions for details). The agreement allows us to retain and delete data, and if the relevant data is processed under the agreement or legitimate interests, we will retain and delete data in a way that may override certain rights you may have.

In situations where other legal bases apply, although rare, such as to protect your or others' vital interests, or if we are legally required to process information.

Finally, in addition to the above, we will only use your information with your consent in the following circumstances:

If you explicitly consent to receive push messages by clicking the link in the verification email, we will send you emails containing push messages.

The assessment of the personal information you provide to us involves "special categories" of personal information (e.g., your religious beliefs or political views), and we will subsequently process this information to provide assessment results and for research purposes (data will be anonymized or pseudonymized). In this case, we rely first on legitimate interests and secondarily on your explicit consent for this.

Please note that you can withdraw your explicit consent at any time.

If you provide us with certain categories of personal data, we may also further process it for research purposes – usually, it will be anonymized so that it is no longer your personal data. If the processing of personal data is involved, we will also rely on Article 9.2(j) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Do we transfer your information elsewhere?

As a global digital service, we need to work with several suppliers, some of whom are located outside the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA), such as in the United States, to operate the website and provide online services. Some of our employees also work outside the EEA. Therefore, some of your data may be transferred outside the EEA. Some countries may not have data protection laws equivalent to the current data protection laws in the EEA.

We will ensure that any transfer of personal information outside the EEA to which GDPR applies will be subject to appropriate or suitable relevant safeguards permitted by GDPR (such as contracts approved by the European Commission), which are designed to protect your privacy rights and provide you with remedies if your personal information is misused.

We typically use contractual clauses for such transfers (under Article 46.2 of the GDPR), unless the relevant country is deemed adequate under Article 45 of the GDPR (including the US Privacy Shield). We also limit access to your personal information to only those employees who need to know such information for business reasons. If you would like more information, please feel free to contact us.

Where necessary, we will share your information with the following third-party suppliers, specifically as follows:

Gmail is responsible for delivering transactional emails. We also collect statistics on email opens and clicks to monitor and improve communication.

Airwallex processes payments and conducts anti-fraud checks.

Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Microsoft Ads, etc., for analyzing visitor behavior, as well as hosting the website, databases, and related assets and services.

We have listed all third-party providers here to be as transparent as possible. "Sharing" is a general term for when we transfer your information outside the company. We transfer as little data as possible and encrypt data whenever possible. For example, our email service provider needs to know your email address to provide test results, but we do not know your password.

We use all reasonable security and access control measures to protect our data on third-party websites.

How and when do we share your information?

Firstly, no one on the website can see your personal information.

However, we may also disclose your personal information in the following special circumstances:

When required by law or in connection with any ongoing, anticipated, or reasonably possible (in our opinion) legal proceedings;

When we need to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights (for example, providing information to others to prevent fraud);

If we are involved in a merger, reorganization, or any similar process that requires the transfer of your information, we will share your information with the parties involved in that process (such as potential buyers);

If we have good reason to believe that you or someone else is in danger (e.g., a reasonably credible statement about self-harm or threats was made in our discussions), we will attempt to contact local authorities and provide them with information that may help prevent such a situation.

In general, except for the circumstances described above, we do not share your personal information with third parties.

How long will we retain your personal information?

We will retain your information to provide you with services and achieve the purposes described in this policy or the terms and conditions. This also applies to any other parties with whom we share your information.

Here are some examples of data categories and their retention periods:

Payment and order data, including related logs – 10 years.

Test result information – permanent.

Once we no longer need your information to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, or for other purposes described in this policy, we will personalize your information or completely delete it from our systems.

How do we handle minors' information?

You may only use our website if you have reached the age of consent for data processing as stipulated by the laws of your country. Regardless of local law, children under the age of 13 may not use our website. If you are a parent and you discover that your child is using our website and you do not want them to, please feel free to contact us.

As a start-up, we do not have the resources to verify and obtain parental consent. Therefore, if you have not reached the legal age stipulated in your country, you are not authorized to use our website.

What can you ask us to do with your information?

Under the GDPR, you are entitled to several fundamental rights free of charge. These rights include:

This Privacy Policy aims to address fair processing of information and transparency of data usage;

Access to your personal information and certain other supplementary information;

Request us to correct any errors in the information we hold;

Request the deletion of personal information related to you in specific circumstances;

Receive the personal information you have provided to us about yourself in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and have the right to transmit that data to a third party in certain circumstances;

Object at any time to the processing of your personal information for marketing purposes;

Object to decisions made by automated means, especially those that have legal effects or similarly significant effects on you;

Object to our continued processing of your personal information in certain other circumstances;

Restrict our processing of your personal information in certain circumstances;

Withdraw your consent if we rely on your consent as the lawful basis for the relevant processing;

The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

For more information about these rights, including the circumstances in which they apply, please refer to the ICO's guidelines.

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please send us an email. Please remember that you need to send your request from the email address associated with you so that we can process it. Otherwise, we will not be able to confirm that you are the owner of the data.

How do we protect your information?

We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse, or alteration of your personal information. For example, we store this information on secure (password- and firewall-protected) servers, encrypt some sensitive traffic to and from the website, and anonymize or pseudonymize personal details where possible.

However, we cannot guarantee the complete security of data sent over the internet. Someone might find a vulnerability in our encryption protocols, your internet provider might log the data you send, etc.

How to contact us?

It is recommended that you click "Contact Us" directly. We will reply to you within 1-3 working days after receiving your message.
